Eye sight
The concept of pinhole glasses was first introduced by pioneering researcher William Bates in 1911 and, 113 years later is more relevant than ever.
His brilliant realisation was that when you put pinhole glasses on, the light rays enter the eye perpendicular to the retina stimulating the fovea, which is the highest resolution part of your retina.
This activates your brain to become more aware of the fovea and reminds you exactly how good your vision actually already is. Over time your eye relearns how to access the foveal vision meaning your eyesight gets sharper, reducing the need to wear traditional glasses.
